Paraglider

Paragliding requires expertise and good knowledge of the risks involved. A pilot flying alone in unstable conditions may be unable to divert his or her hands or attention to aerial photography when there is any possibility of the paraglider becoming destabilized as a consequence of turbulence. However, when soaring over an interesting landscape in stable conditions, such as those often encountered early in the morning or late in the afternoon, hands can be removed from control handles for long enough to compose and take worthwhile images.

Another hazard that should never be overlooked when attention is diverted is that posed by the presence of other paragliders. The pilot must always be aware of the activities of other flyers.
